Bartu Schimschek’s main research interests are medical physics, biothermodynamics, and biomedical electronics. He developed the group contribution method and used it for the first time to calculate the energy of a virus.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, where he was the student representative, with honours from Yeditepe University (2021). He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics (BEMP) at Technical University of Munich (TUM).
